    I read a little while ago that you’d just gone through a hiring drive and were training your staff. How did that go? To your usual high standards?

    We did! We had some live chat and phone support get added to our team. So we currently have support ticket, 24/7/365 live chat, and 24/7/365 phone support. Always high standards! I much prefer to have happy clients over massive profits. When you have happy clients, you don't have to spend all that profit on advertising as your clients advertise for you. 🙂

    We've had a couple that I have had to go to our manager over for typos, grammatical issues, and simple things such as asking a question to a client when they have already provided that information in the ticket at least once. Just some slight oversights in which could have shortened the ticket completion time. But overall, we haven't fired anyone.

    It's awesome to hear that it went to well! Is everyone at their home working remotely, or is there/was an office setting they went too?

    We don't have a brick and mortar office, we are all remote. 🙂

    We have an account manager,  team leaders, and various support employees. We have a team leader over telephone support services who manages their own team. We also have another team leader who manages and ensures live chat is always online and ready and consistently looks to build a more in depth FAQ that the agents can use to more quickly answer questions from customers, and a team leader over support tickets. 

    The account manager is my Liason for any problems within the team and ensures all team members are working efficiently and ensuring all support channels are always working appropriately.

    Ping tests are an inherently unuseful metric. It would be better if you actually gave us an indication of how fast they are instead of saying "Do it yourself".
