  1. Hello everyone, Firstly, I would like to extend an apology for not really being here lately. Thanks to COVID-19, I have been busier than ever and because of that, I lacked any time to truly commit to all of you. I look forward to being back and ready to tackle the webmaster world with all of you. Secondly, as you might have noticed we are now running on Invision Community. We made the decision to move over as IPB software has what we are looking for to expand in the future, and, the majority of all the features you came to love back on XenForo are new and improved

  11. Hi everyone, As this add-on has not yet been updated to fix the continuous glitches popping up, we went ahead and removed the add-on until it's been fixed or an alternative can be arranged. However! For those with verifications, we're working on an update that will still display your badge(s)!

  12. How is the legislation not about protecting people's privacy? Yes, but internet forums exist in the real world where there are very real laws and regulations one must follow. The internet is not some kind of wild west. This is really a completely different discussion, but you wouldn't really have a forum if it weren't for your users. Your users give you content and thus they are invaluable to you. Sure, you give access to a platform for them to do this on, but that platform would be useless without your users. That's why I think it's a pretty good idea to treat your users, th

  14. Personally, a professional look on a forum is the difference between me signing up or not. In fact, one of the reasons I signed up to Forumer.io is because I was in awe of the professional look. If the forum looks like it's run by a kid, and I can tell, I won't be signing up.

  15. May I suggest another contender? I use Affinity, and I absolutely love it. Compared to GIMP you'd need to pay for a license however it is a lot cheap than Photoshop. Check it out here https://affinity.serif.com/en-us/

No matter what skill level you are, you are always more than welcomed to come to Code Forum to learn, build and share. Code Forum was founded in October of 2018 and had been striving ever since, at the time of the creation of this thread we hav

  37. So, there’s a couple of things here: Firstly, there’s the 10% rule. For everything you post on Reddit, only 10% should be self-promotion. Using Reddit as a promotion forum where you post only promotional material isn’t permitted under their guidelines. I’d be aware of this. I’d look into places where your video topics fit.

  38. I truly say stay away from forum "plugins" for WordPress as they usually do not have a lot of features and can be buggy if you do not know what you're doing. I'd highly suggest using Flarum or MyBB as a means for community software. Why is your friend looking for a forum plugin for Wordpress? Is he interested in building an online community?

  40. Asperger's Network is a general community geared toward Autistic People. Whilst we do not cater only for them, we do provide them with a safe-spot. Alas, this is also a custom forum software built from the ground up. Some features: Transparent Moderation; things are deleted, with a placeholder. People make mistakes, so these posts can be replaced at any time, by any moderator. Custom markup Clean fast forum experience Unique, in the sense that it's the only website running this software. I look forward to conversing with some of you over on my website. The design

We provide resources, showcases, discussion and marketplaces for you to outreach and develop from like-minded individuals, or find your next commission. The mobile-friendly site allows our community to stick to what they know in their own sections, or to branch out and develop their skillset in other areas, and we constantly add to the site to provide more features, more creative hobbies, and more resources based on our user feedback. 43. I just realised I haven’t given my top 5, so here they are, in no particular order: 1. - Be Unique Let’s be honest, if you were creating another webmaster forum to try to take on that particular one that isn’t even really a webmaster forum and is just an advertising free-for-all that everyone seems to love - nobody would take you seriously. Aim for excellence and uniqueness, nothing less. 2. - Pick your software carefully I don’t care what your website runs, provided it doesn’t change. Once you start changing the software around, it sets a precedent that you’ll continually change it. S
