How long did it take you to build your custom forum software?

In which instance? The original one - in, then, procedural PHP took me about two weeks. The second one took about 6 months, and the current iteration (which is under construction in Swift!) has taken me about 9 months, and it's not even close to done. It's been a busy year.

Well I'm excited to see your new creation! Would you ever consider creating a commercial piece for resale, like Xenforo, IPB, etc?

No. There are better uses of my time than pushing out updates to a piece of software for webmasters who don't quite realise how good they have it.

Fair enough!

What brought you into the forum world?

Do you have any pets?

I do, yes.

How did you come up with your username?

Sector 3 Gunzel; a gunzel is a railfan, and our rail system is divided into sectors. I just happen to live on "Sector 3".

Favorite place you've travelled to?

Rylestone, NSW. Wonderful country town with an even more wonderful country pub.

Although, the heritage aspects of Kandos station, not far from there, can't be discounted.
